Why we support Sunnykids
Sunny Kids are a local not for profit organisation who support at risk kids and families on the Coast every day in numerous challenging situations. For me, addressing the needs of our kids and families on the Coast is critical and is something all of our community should be passionate about and invested in.
what sunnykids do
The Sunshine Coast community identifies up to 5,000 at-risk children every year. In response, SunnyKids provides thousands of nights of emergency accommodation, as well as domestic violence and referral counselling, and they partner with health, education and child protection agencies to keep kids safe.
life changing results
The work that the team at SunnyKids do, especially in relation to domestic violence, is incredibly difficult, and the results they achieve are life changing. A better education, less self harm, less physical and emotional abuse creates a brighter future for our kids.
